EMT

RESQRS is seeking skilled, dependable, and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians to provide BLS ambulance services for non-emergency and interfacility patient transportation. EMTs are responsible for ensuring patients receive safe, professional, and clinically appropriate care throughout each transport.

In this role EMTs will assess and monitor patients, provide care within their scope of practice, safely operate and maintain ambulance equipment, and communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and fellow crew members. EMTs must consistently uphold RESQRS standards for patient safety, documentation, professionalism, and customer service.

Qualified team members will have opportunities to cross-train in emergency and non-emergency medical flight team ground transportation and special operations standby services.

The EMT/Paramedic will provide professional, compassionate, and patient-centered care and transportation within a progressive, nontraditional medical transport organization. Working alongside in-house dispatchers, the EMT/Paramedic will carry out and embrace a mission-first culture dedicated to delivering exceptional care and raising the standard of medical transportation throughout Pittsburgh and the surrounding region. RESQRS will train new EMTs; 2 years experience preferred.

Paramedic

RESQRS is seeking highly skilled, dependable, and compassionate Paramedics to provide ALS ambulance services for non-emergency and interfacility patient transportation. Paramedics play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and clinically appropriate care to patients with varying levels of medical complexity.

In this role Paramedics will assess and monitor patients, provide advanced care within their scope of practice, manage medications and medical equipment, and communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and fellow crew members. Paramedics will also provide clinical leadership and guidance to EMTs and other team members while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, documentation, professionalism, and customer service.

Qualified team members will have opportunities to cross-train in emergency and non-emergency medical flight team ground transportation and special operations standby services.

Newly-certified Paramedics are welcome with previous EMT experience.

Valid driver’s license
EVDT/EMSVO & CPR (current)
Valid PA / NR Paramedic certification
Current PALS, ACLS, and PHTLS / ITLS
Pass a criminal background check (PATCH)
Pass FBI fingerprinting clearance & Child Abuse Clearance (CWIS)
Have a clean driving record & insurable by company commercial auto carrier
5 years of unrestricted driving experience – Required
Must receive an active medical command status from RESQRS appointed Medical Director.
